Black Picket Fence is an anamorphic sculpture.

It is a 3D visualization of the figure from the Sunbeam. The figure, which represents the historical fragmented and scattered homes of marginalized communities, is bathed by a projector in the colors of the Pan-African flag, visually distinguishing it from the suburban home it is revealed to be holding. The weight of the home brings the figure to its knees, and yet it remains intangible; at any point, the projector can be turned off, leaving the figure deprived of color and grasping at nothing but air.
